adding 2 t5 9 watt strips to my existing t8 15 watt

to my 20 gal regular tank.... approx 24in x 14 in x 12in




So what will this give me in terms of lighting? high? med high? very high?

Actually, it would probably only be about medium low light. To date I've found Wizard~Of~Ozz's estimates to be fairly close to actual performance on my nanos.

Depending on the size of your current light strip (20 or 24 inches) you can retrofit it with one of the www.ahsupply.com 36 or 55 W strips. I would think you have a 24" strip, but I thought the 15W bulbs were 18" in a 20" strip. The 55 W one would give you more than enough light for just about any plant. Of course, it would require CO2.

They are, it's just not as noticeable on this size tank.
