Alrighty, I've been told that I could possibly enhance my plant growth by distributing some Seachem Flourite throughout my stubstrate. I am currently running 64W T8 (6,700K) and 28W T5NO (10,000K) over my 55g and I'm seeing fairly slow growth. My nitrates stay in the range of 5-10ppm and I do use some DIY root tabs/Seachem root tabs for my Swords, Crypts, and Vals. However, I still get pretty lousy growth from even some of the "fast growing" plants like Anacharis and Jungle Val are slowly creeping along. Will Flourite offer much of an improvement to plant growth or is there another problem like insufficient light? I'm not looking for high tech growth, but this is getting ridiculous.
