Anubias trimming

I have looked but haven't found a definite answer to my question, where exactly do I cut to remove an ugly leaf? the tallest largest leaf is what I want gone, it has a new stem and leaf that has sprouted from it

Cut the stem as close as you can to the rhizome

I just trimmed all mine all you do is bend the stem backwards and it breaks right off. Otherwise you have a bunch of little tidbits that will die off the stem (found out the hard way)
