buying plants tonight

Im going to be buying some plants tonight. Gonna just pick out a variety of colors and leaf designs. May get something to start carpeting part of the bottom as well. Im gonna be doing liquid carbon for now. I may try a diy co2 setup later. I know that ill need to do a fertilizer. Any suggestions? I will be going to my local petsmart so it must be something they cary. This is a 20gallon tank. I have a 18" florescent bulb that specifies that it is for plants.

Java fern would do good. Make aure you tie it to a piece driftwood or a rock. Don't burry the rhizome(thick horizontal root) it will rot away
