I am currently running 50 gallon tank. I was wondering carpeting the tank with plants.
My substrates are miracle gro and pool filter sand. I also have a statlite USA LED light.

I am guessing that's low light. Glosso might work. Maybe someone else can help.

Most carpeting plants need moderate to high light with CO2 to carpet lush. If you can add more light like adding a second fixture, you'd expand the possibilities. But as it stands, a single Sat+ will only get you low light on a tank that size. Perhaps a moss carpet or dwarf sag would work... Although most plants would probably grow painfully slow.
