Which fixture made by Finnex is best for a planted tank.
Or the monsterray. My tank is a 55g 18" high.

Start with the Planted+. Not as much PAR as a Ray 2, but way better color spectrum due to the red and blue diodes. If you ever need more light in the future, you can always double up or supplement the lighting somehow. But for starting out, the Planted+ is perfect.

I have the planted plus on my tank and it's a pretty deep tank at 20 inches and I'm getting good growth and runners from almost all my plants.
