Aquarium Advice Freak
Hey guys! New to live plants even though i always meant to get a couple before. I have a new tank that i am looking forward to setting up as a planted tank with all the more peaceful fish that i originally wanted, but ended up not being able to have after starting my mbuna cichlid tank. I just wanted to hear your suggestions on some nice plants to suit my setup and see if i need anything else i didnt know about.
Tank is 48x12.5x18", which i believe equates to 46 gallons according to a quick google search? I plan to use pool filter sand since ive liked it in my other tanks, it is inexpensive, and i am set on having a group of 8 or more corries who like sand. I am hoping because its not as fine as other sand, that it might still work ok with plants. The tank came with a dual T5HO fixture and i just ordered a 6700k and a 14000k bulb for it. Tank also has a glass cover for the top
