greeen hygro question

ok so my green hygro is almost too tall for my tank, it is happy, so what do i go with it? how does this plant propagate? does t shoot out plantlings? or is like a stem plant ? just trim and place else where?

still a newb to planted tanks:ermm:

How tall is it?
I wanna get some for my 40 and I'm hoping it can get up there

it is about 12 inches, i only have a 10 gal up right now.
i know it can get pretty tall though because our aquarium at the zoo has some and it must be like a good 24-30 inches.
