You need to post pictures or describe them better, as just 'holes' can describe almost every type of deficiency to some degree. We also need to know what plants have the issue.
Generally speaking though, you likely have a macronutrient issue (NPK), with potassium (K) being the most likely culprit.
Have a crappy cell camera but there just round holes. Not any kind of discoloration or anything. There on my swords, crypts, ludwigia. I've only got 9 small fish and its heavily planted.
Im new to this lighting stuff. Its got 2-65w compact fluorescent bulbs. 2-65w actinic bulbs. I think its 12,000k. Im using root tabs, and excel. No Co2! Its a 55 gal
