Without proper co2 and fertilizer as well you will get algae galore.

Yes. Seachem flourish comprehensive and flourish excel will be sufficient in low light. Your fixture is medium light so you can dim it or order a lower light one.

Looks good. I don't know anything about it but for low light any planted tank gravel should be good.

I'm confused. Didnt you have a T5 dual bulb fixture? If so you could find some way of dimming that.

Thats a good idea. I don't know much of anything about how these things work (literally not much more than they are two ight bulbs and a hood) but I think the spread would be insufficient with one bulb.
