ID Algae Please

My LFS has this in one of his tank, he has no clue what it is, I was wondering what it was. It's pretty neat looking and I thought it would be good for a fry tank. I however don't want to take any home until I'm sure it's not harmful at all. Anyone have any ideas?

It looks like hair algae and you don't want to bring any home. It sign of an imbalanced tank. If you want something good for your fry look around at the LFS's for some water sprite. It's great for fry, grows like a weed, and needs no special attentiion.

Thank you ..... My LFS is horrible, inventory is lacking anything that you would really want. I'll look into buying some sprite online! Thanks!
