I've got algae pretty much everywhere, but it's "stable". It's free food for most of my tank's inhabitants. Also, thanks! She's been a learning experience. :D

Yepyep, anyone who says they have zero algae has been drinking the tank water.. it's part of a nalanced, healthy tank..

If you kill as much algae as reasonably possible I think you will slow the rate of algae bloom if you make a mistake in the future (e.g. run low on CO2). But that's just my unsubstantiated theory, knowing where algae spores come from.
