So my wife says the tank looks like a jungle (what, 1.5 plants per gallon isn't enough... need 2). But seriously enjoying my first tank back in the hobby.

I could not do an unplanted aquarium. But it is now stocked!

So what do I have so far… 45 Gallon tank with:
7 Neon Tetra
5 Rummy-nose Tetra
5 Congo Tetra
6 Otocinclus Catfish
6 Amano Shrimp
2 Guppy
1 Swordtail
4 Apistogramma Cacatuoides (2m, 2f)
Unknown number of RCS

More plants than I can count (crypts, swords, DHG, anacharis, etc.).

Diatoms a problem at the moment. Granted the tank is 3-4 month range so its time.

I know its a bit messy on the aquascaping side... but I am really happy with it. Just get through the diatoms and I should be good. Never did as planted a tank before.

Granted the RCS and Apistogramma love the bidding places.

Hope you like!
