I can't think of any reason why there are oil in my tank.
I got 5 plant tank, 4 with floater plant these 4 tank has oil floating.
How do I removed it, should I build a surface skimmer?
I do water change, it gone but couple day after it show up again.
Make the tank ugly...

Turn your filter off and eliminate surface agitation then place newspaper across the entire top of your tank. Let sit momentarily and remove. Repeat once more and all oil will be removed. Oils probably came from your hands.

That is so clever....

I wouldn't trust newspaper. I use cheap unscented paper towels using the same method. Lay it down, then slowly pick it up again.
