Pink algae?

Something is growing in my tank it looks like pink algae. Is it bad?

It looks like a form of thread or hair algae.

Hair algae will turn bright pink when its dying. It seems to do it particularly well when Excel is involved. Has it sense diminished or gone away entirely?

Its still there but its disappearing and yea im using excel

No I been using it since I started my tank. So its been 6 months
