Plant half sphere

I'm improving my aqua scape little by little and want to add a half sphere of plants similar to baby tears to add a jungle effect. How can I do this? I have a path with small smooth black stones that I want to curl around this half sphere to create a little bit of mystery about where this path leads to. Here's a picture of something similar. I do not want to make it into a hobbit house though lol. sorry about the quality it's just a screenshot from google images

You could take plastic craft mesh and shape it into the desired shape.
