Plant ties

I bought some plants online that were held in a bunch by a metal-like tie. it wraps around the roots kind of and keeps them in a pretty bunch. Will leaving these ties on inhibit the growth any?

Take them off. The sinkers constrict the plants & they rot under them.

I remove them personally, cuz then I can spread the plant out more evenly so it grows more full.

Agree, remove it. Also, IME if you plant the plants 1 stem at a time, even if you want them close together, I get better results than planting the whole bunch.

I can tell you from experience, I left them on and the stems do rot. Remove them.
