I want to get some plants and have 2 lg oscars so what kind if any would be good?

Plastic? Even they might not last.
If you really want to try live I'd suggest anubias. They are pretty tough but then so are oscars..... :/

i was going to suggest the larger anubias too. they are tougher and not so tasty.

I have a friend who would entertain his oscar by putting bunches of hornwort in a transparent hamster ball and putting it in the tank. The thing would push, chased, and throw the thing around all day long. He HATED those dang plants.


YMMV. Oscars tend to have their own opinions on tank decor that may or may not include your plants.

I know mine sure do. Everytime I clean they spend 2 days rearranging it back as the way it was. Thanx
