Plants floating

So I have ambulia and cabomba and my snails keep up rooting them any suggestions on keeping them down and my substrate is gravel

You could wrap some lead plant anchors to base

Both those plants should be easy to plant, just bury a little more of the stem... make sure you plant them deep. Gravel makes planting tough sometimes for sure.

I can't imagine snails uprooting plants... Just bury them a little deeper as 'rook suggested.

my swordtails mess my Amazon Sword up when they chase each other, so i just took the gravel and made a tiny hill where the plant was planted.
