Aquarium Advice Apprentice
I read a lot on amano shrimp before I bought two for my 10 gallon planted tank. Common wisdom says they are excellent for planted tanks as they eat dead plant matter and are constantly foraging and cleaning up.
Well, the two I got immediately started feasting on my nymphoides, leaving them full of holes. What the hell internet! Your aquascape messiah is my presumptuous guest.
I put a piece of blanched cucumber in hoping to distract them, but they weren't interested.
Two questions:
1)What's the best thing to supplement their diet with?
2)Is it possible I have some sort of imposter? (Sorry, best photo I could get at the moment)
