I have a quick question that all of you have heard many, many times before. It's about lighting. Right now, I have a 55watt pc light from AH Supplies over my 20 gallon long. I'm experiencing some algae problems because I don't have Co2, so I'm thinking about downing the wattage.
I could get linkable 14 watt flourescent lights from Wal-Mart for only $10 each. If I got three, I would have 42 watts. Does that seem like a good idea? It would cost me around $30 for the lights and about another $20 to make the lighting enclosure. Is there a better deal out there?
