T5 AND Led not an argument for one or the other, using them both?

So all this debate on which is better and why? My thoughts on my planted tank are combine a strip of T5 and a strip of LED and let the best of both worlds flow. Watcha think?

One of the nicest FW planted tanks on AA used a combination of fluorescent, LED, and metal halides (Rivercats).
A member of a local fish club combines those two to power a plant "farm" tank. So long as it provides enough light and is in the proper spectrum for the plants that will be under it, I don't see a problem with that setup.
