Anyone that uses Thrive all in one and Thrive root tabs/caps. Notice a ammonia spike and nitrate spike after using it? I added both yesterday. Also anyone notices the green caps floating to top of the substrate after they start disolving?

Likely just a coincidence on the NH4 reading, is this a new tank? Thrive won't add any ammonia.

Thrive clearly states it will add a lot of NO3, so no surprise there.

Ditch the root tabs, they aren't required if you are dosing the water column. Yes, they will float up to the top of the water / substrate if they aren't buried really deep.
