Hi guys and girls.

I have a rio 125 planted tank. The plants weren't doing so well so I have bought 2x tmc aquagro and excel seachem to help them along.

I just want to know should I set both tmc kits up, also should I turn off the air stone to stop co2 being lost? and how much surface agitation should I be looking for from my external filter?

Also if I use a 6.5ph solution for my water will the co2 drop this further?

Thanks in advance people! :flowers:

I would turn off airstone while co2 is being dispersed as it can counter act it. Run co2 during the day and maybe airstone at night. Also, what are your tank parameters, dosing schedule and lighting? You didn't give us any info to go off of.

The lighting is on for 10 hours a day (2x 39w t5ho)
And i just dose the recommended amount of fert per week as per bottle and cant remember what that is off the top of my head.
As for co2 I just keep topping up the attachment that comes with the kit.
