+1 I felt like I was talking to myself for a while in my build thread :hide:

A journal is something you should keep to record anything that happens with your tank.

The 30" is correct, the 24/7 would be a nice fit too!

I can wait brookster. But that is an awesome light that light timing will defintely help. I've heard you have to balance high light with carbon. What does this mean? Anyway Thx for the cool link those lights are basically same thing as other but incorporate a remote which is way cooler and easier to use than a light timer!

Supply and demand ;) I know some one that won't get his 24/7 till September. The planted+ should do you great for now.

And there has been plenty of times I've felt like I was talking to myself in my build thread. People will come just need patience like everything else in this hobby.

Mine is more of a natural feel. Much less organized than these other guys on here. That's a 48 inch planted +

That angel sounds exactly like mine by your description and yes it is the lighting that causes the different look.
I agree with wrangler that a small piece of DW would really add to it.
I am concerned that with the temp at 84 and you going to a stronger light you could run into algae problems but hopefully not.

Lol. How did you know my temp was 84 I don't remember saying that. I do have a piece of driftwood actually I just took it out for a bit ill post a pic later. As for the Angel does that mean he's a regular old zebra? I thought he was special. Sniff sniff

As for the heat I turned my temp on the adjust a thingy lower to like 78 but haven't plugged it in yet. Will do

Good start Bull. I have a 29g and run two planted +s. The 24/7 seems awesome but I bought mine before it came out.

Thx pit . I will try to find it so I don't have to wait a month for shipping

Pit - What are the differences between the planted+ and the 24/7? I'm happy with my planted+ and your plants are doing fine under yours. By the time I get around to getting the 24/7, something new and possible better will be out there.

24/7 has a baked in lighting program, the 24 7 mode takes you through the varying light levels of the day. Has a nifty remote to control rgb's and such..

Just what Brookster said. Whenever I get a new light, it will probably have a feature to make toast.
