A banana plant. I wish I could find them again. It was like having a tiny lily pad with weird roots in my tank.

This...I don't know what it's called and would actually like to know (lol) but it just kinda floats at the top and slim roots trickle down...it's actually in my tank now (since my current tank is my first tank)

Looks like anacharis. My anacharis always did better floating sending off the same slender roots.
