Hey guys, I have a 20gal tall planted tank, and I was looking for some cabomba. I found some in a local pond and was wondering if it would be ok to put into my 20 gal? It grows in a giant "forest" in the shallow parts of the pond.

I dont see why it wouldnt be okay. You will usually get some bugs with w8ld plants but they are usually good fish food.

I was just making sure it wasn't illegal or anything like that

Unless its an endangered plant i seriously doubt they care. Cabomba is far from endangered so im pretty sure youre okay. Those regumations are handled on a state level though, so you would have to check for your state laws on it.
