Agreed....shouldn't be a problem.

I have a fairly large one in my freshly planted tank and he is wrecking everything. he swims around very fast uprooting small plants in his path. He is constantly digging his cave deeper under a piece of drift wood and has made close friends with my clown loach. They live together under the driftwood and are never more than 6 inches apart during the day.

The key words there are 'freshly planted'. Unfortunately this means that the plants haven't had a chance to develop extensive root systems yet so any activity along the bottom will stand a pretty good chance of uprooting them.

Mine went right for a small cave I provided and took immediate possession of it....defending it successfully against all comers until I introduced a Burmese Border Loach (Schistura sp. aff. vinciguerre) that proved too tough a customer for the Yo-Yos to handle. They promptely took up residence in another cave and have been relatively happy there ever since.

Thanks for sharing your information!
