Good news! Today I've gotten my shipment of fish.

I got a m/f pair of gold german rams and the sender decided to be nice and sent me a 1in pleco. I have no idea what species it is though. It doesn't look like a common. But it might be.

All the fish are in QT right now.

I also received 3 segments of anubias barteri nana and some xmas moss as a freebie as well.
Pics soon.

After some searching I've figured it is a bristlenose pleco(I think). Too big for my 20g.

Sorry, I can't get any decent pictures because I'm keeping them in a 6" deep tub. The foot print of the tank is about the same as a 15g tank though. They are also hiding pretty well. They arrived very healthy, no lethargy at all. They almost jumped out of the net while I transferred bag to QT tub.
No pic of Mr. Pleco. He's hiding somewhere...

I'll get better pics tomorrow, I'm letting them get acclimatized first.

Filtration in this thing is a jury-rigged filter out of a 100gph pump(it really is less but it's rated at that) stuffed into two filter bags and filled with seeded bio rings and some filterfloss from my pond filter.

Mr. Pleco. His tail looks funny, but it's just folded down. It's really quite impressive. He isn't 1 inch long yet. I've contacted the seller to get a positive ID.

Snuck up on him while he was perched out of his cave.

These are high-qual fish too. Not china bred, S. American origins. According to the source site: "Manufactured by: South America" lol.

Anyways, I've named the male Lockes and the female Goldy, just for fun.

Haha, no it's just a food grade tub.

since thats a tub, do you take a shower with them O_____O

You take showers in tubs?

Anyways, nice looking fish... picture reminds me of electric blues rather than german gold.. or one of the other color morphs :p

the pleco looks similar to some of the hifins I've seen at petsmart, but I've also seen bristlenose that look like it. Hifins do get 18"+ though

They are definitely German Gold ram. They have gold heads and yellow bodies with a very pearly sheen. The tub doesn't let out yellow light very well so it looks blue more than gold.

The seller confirmed it as a BN pleco. I'm keeping him :D.
