Missing a week of glute?

Let's say I dose everyday for the next year and the I go on a 7 day vacation. What happens if I do not dose for those 7 days?? Will I have an algae breakout?

Just set the lights for 3 hours a day.. that's what I do..

Simple and clever solution. I used to starve my plants and fish.
Especially the time I manually turned on the light to my shrimp tank before I went on vacation and discovered I left it like that 8 days later.

Lol. I starve my fish. But I guess no light and no glute, is just starving your plants. Huh? No algae problem then.

I can't get my head around the light, fish poop, glute and algae relationship. I understand if any nutrients is in excess algae can grow.

But why is it the same for a lack of nutrients??
