Small Plec

Hi everyone. I'm new to this site so not sure if I'm posting right. About a year ago I bought 3 Plecs for my tank. 2 of them have grown to be over a foot long and the other one is barely an inch. It's still living, but does this mean it's deformed. Ive never seen such a tiny plec

Hi, welcome

Could it be a different breed? It sounds very small to be a runt compared to the others.

I am unsure about breed. Thought they were both same when I bought them. Thankyou for your reply

Could be a sail fin?? Severely stunted.. looks healthy despite the small stature.

He's a cute little fish. Doesn't come out much so I was very lucky to get a pic of him

Yes, maybe a Clown Pleco has more golden stripes, or probably Pitbull Pleco seems more speckled.
