Went to buy plants....bought betta instead

I made the mistake of going to Petland with my 3yo in tow. I went to see what they had for plants there since it's a lot closer than my normal LFS and my daughter saw a betta and wouldn't leave until we bought it.

So no plants for me.. but, hey..finally have a fish in my tank....

I was thinking the same! There really should be a warning label on these fish. Most of mine have been impulse buys.

Yep! I'd never seen them before - normally my LFS just has crown & veils.
