killing time researching fish on live aquaria, I stumbled across the Clown Tang. wow! I would love to have one but it says expert only. due to it needing excellent water and proper aeration. anybody have experience with them? are they really that hard to keep?

Banana wrasse, dragon wrasse, blonde naso, clown tang, desjardini ... these are all fish that are up for consideration. Im sure there are others but i havent gotten through them all. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

Clown tang is to big for your tank and super aggressive. Naso is also pushing the limits as far as size. They make my 180g look small. Dragon wrasse flip over rocks and can be super aggressive at feeding times. Of course, this is just my experience and opinion. You know we always seem to have the same taste in fish and I research my new buys to death before I buy...

Well that just sucks. I dont mind if the dragon wrasse gets aggressive during feeding, i know the others can handle it. I wanted to do 2 tangs but i wonder if i stick with 1 if i could get away with one of those tangs? As much as i hate saying it, i will be upgrading within a few years.

Orange shoulder, purple tang, convict, lieutenant, or even a yellow. Just a suggestion.

I had a Scopas in my 125g that was pretty nice. Him and the Blue Hippo Tang acted a bit aggressively towards each other at times, but I wouldn't say it was something to be overly concerned about.
