What glass thickness would be good for a sump I'm making for my 90 gallon tank. The sump tank is 29 gallons

1/4 " is likely the smallest available and will do fine. Because there is going to be water on both sides there is little pressure. Use glass baffles if the sump is glass. Use acrylic if the sump is acrylic
