My mom and me LOVE aquariums and this is the next place i want to take her.

or...a seahorse! It can wrap it's bitty tail around the nose and they can be buddies :) <begin corny seahorse joke sequence> Don't worry, the seahorse will keep the tank stable <end corny seahorse joke sequence>

Wow, thanks for all the input! It's a lot to think on. The atlantic is a big responcibility. Lot to think about. What other kind of fish are whale shark friendly. I was kinda wanting to get a snowflake eel, but from what i've read they can cause problems down the road, even leading to the sharks death if he catches the shark sleeping. Sigh...so much to take in at one time... God only knows if i plan on turning it into a reef tank. What size skimmer do you think ill need for something of this scale?

lol, just about every ocean comes with free Volitans so I think that is covered ;)

Thinking about using the sun/moon as my main lighting source. Still debating

you will have a lot of evap.

What about your flow? What kind of powerheads?

some sort of tidal flow system?

do you have a protein skimmer?

We had a hurricane here a few years back. the foam went up the beach and across the street.

I want to go to the GA aquarium this summer.

OP, you might be too small though if you want to get tangs,
