Copper

I put copper in my 125 fish only and I was wondering if there would be any way to put inverts back in after it's out of the water

Not likely. Copper has a tendency to be absorbed by rock and substrate, and release back slowly over time. It depends upon how much you treated with, and whats left residually in the tank.
