I got a used tank. Moved it. It's been 2 weeks. The back glass had purple coraline algae on it. Now it is white. Should I be worried. Algae dying? Should I scrape it off?

Thanks again,
Rick

If the tank was just set up at your place then it will probably come in the future. That happens alot with LR that has coraline on it and you add it to your tank alot of times it will bleach but will turn back weeks later. Kind of need two readings also from you. What are your alk and calcium readings? That will help us to determine if your water is the problem.

ALk = 8 dKH
Ca = 320 ppm

Well I did not add it to my tank. The LR came with the tank. I had to move it. So the LR was out of the water for a good hr. We wrapped them in wet clothes, put them in a plastic container with water in it.
