Darn, I think my macroalgae is dying.

It looks like my macroalgae might be dying possibly, I can tell you it's starting to turn like kind of a white color and it's starting to turn into like string hair like things. I did lower the light and raised the macro on a rock to try and get more lighting on it.

I wonder if my lighting isn't strong enough? It's just a standard 75 watt 6500K bulb, but by what I read on the internet most people have had success with the bulb I am using.

I actually went ahead and purchased a current usa 20" 40 watt power compact light, I think this will suit my refugium much nicer. I just hope it gets here soon so I have some macroalgae left rofl.
Do I have to leave my refugium light on 24 hours a day for the macro?
