Fire shrimp molt

Is it ok to leave shrimp molts in the tank or should they be removed ASAP. The reason I asked is normally I remove them, but last night I forgot to remove one. I wake us this morning and it's all but vanished. Does the clean up crew eat them, and do they add to nitrates if left in?

You need to leave shrimp molts in the tank always. They get eaten for nutrients.
