Can I put into a 45 gallon tank?

New to salt but I guessing it will be greatly determined on the stock you plan to have. So post a list of what you would like and the experts will advise further. From what I've read salt is very different from the fresh 1" per gallon. The majority I what I have read is anywhere from 4-8 gallons per full grown inch. Also the type of fish and it's swimming habits are something to take in account.

I also have a 45 I'm current planning to set up but on the fence to upgrade the tank size before I continue. So I will be watching the replies ?

a lot depends on what type of fish you choose and also how the tank layout is some get big some stay small , I kept in my 37
