Ich looks like little sand-size white spots. It can only be a few or it can be hundreds.

Over time ich will progress and grow all over the fish and looks like small white dots on the fish and could be difficult to see sometimes ( depending of the fish color ) I would just to be safe treat lithe fish for ich because it can be fatal and if it doesn't seem to get better than it could be a type of fungal issue not sure though. Hope all goes well with your fish.
