The only thing I have to add to the already provided great advice is add a heater and try to get the new water to the same temp as your current tank's.

OK here are some pics of him, sorry had to use the flash I moved the rock to get some pics and he became psychotic. He is currently madly swimming around looking at me.

To Add to the note about your lion not eating him when I dropped mine in there my lion had no care for him, they also hide alot. I was wrong about the 3" as I said before. I have not really looked at him for some time and he has seen to grow to about id say about 4-5" or so. He takes the silversides just as easy as the lion I put them right in front of him and in the blink of an eye they are gone!

Just curious but what if I mixed the remaining 60 g of salt when I get the tank today and just add it in. Will that work? Will that be ok? That way the tank will be up and running today with the fish in it.

Personally, I'd give the water at least overnight to mix well and aerate.

Just mixed SW can be quite caustic. That`s why we suggest at least 24 hrs to age.
