New setup

Hi All... Im in the process of preparing my first saltwater setup ( Fowlr with the hope to have some simple corals once I'm confident I wont torture them!)
I have a 720ltr (190g) tank. But can only fit a 650mm (2ft) custom made sump below due to cabinet/load bearing dividers. Firstly what insump skimmer can you all reccomend and secondly because the sump is so small should I run a cannister filter as well??

No need for a canister. You'll need to do lots of research to find a skimmer that will fit in your cabinet. I'd be concerned that one rated 1.5x will not fit.
