I recommend you do some research. A reef tank requires money, regular maintenance, time, and energy. What size tank are you thinking of? 30 gallons is great size to start out with. However, larger is better b/c you'll have more room for error, but it will cost more. Try finding a great deal on craigslist. Lighting depends on what corals you want and what your budget is and what size tank you have.
