I have a major aiptasia problem.. and i was thinking about getting a peppermint shrimp to eat them, but my saddle might make a meal out of him.. hes never messed with my hermits or emerald crabs but has eaten all my snails.. has anyone had success with a peppermint shrimp and a saddle puffer?

I have not owned a Canthigaster saddle puffer, but I know that puffers LOVE crustaceans. Your hermits and crabs are doing ok for now, but I don't see them living very long with a puffer in your tank. If your puffer can live 15-20+ years, then the little fellow should be smart enough to figure out that his tank is full of food reserve. I'd pass on the shrimp unless you don't think $4-$7 is expensive meals.
