Sand sifting star

It seems as if something is biting my star, it is missing a small piece of the tip of an arm. Could it be my crabs?? What should I do?

I am not seeing it.. He looks ok to me except that he is on the glass instead of in the sand

I know when on the move they will curl up the tips of their arms.

Ya it's hard to see in the pic it's a small piece but I read he's gonna grow it back so everything is okay

Yes the will self heal and regrow. Ive has one for years and it even had a run in with a power head nearly losing 2 limbs, but its fine now, healed up good as new.
