Being that a FOWLR tank has no lighting minimum requirements, you can use anything you want. A bulb in the 10k spectrum would look white, 14k a slight hint of blue and 20k a blue look. It would be a personal preference as to how you want/like it.

LED's if you have the money... because it can be the most customizable and provides possibility of an upgrade to a Reef.
A two or three light Compact Florescent/T5... because they are cheep and you don't need much light on a FOWLR.
