55 gal aquarium

i purchased a 55 gal fresh water set up from a friend. It's been up and running for 2 weeks now. I've been on this site a few times to get info on how to get your tank cycling. Also looking for information on planted tanks for in the future. Also have 1200gal koi pond. It becomes more of a algae farm in the summer.
