Hi I have a 20.28 gallon tank, I have a pearl gorrami 6 needing hearts 6 zebra red faced neons, 3 female guppies 1 male guppy, 2 loaches 2 little cat fish things ( not sure what there called) 2 sword tales and 1 black widow ( I think it is) is it over stocked I havnt got a clue, I have had my tank for 8 weeks got over white spot ( ich) and hopefully my water is ok, I'm having it tested today.
I've a water stone and quite a lot of plants, I've added salt so I'm worried as I've just been told my plants will die my tank is a Askoll pure XL

Hi,
This website allows you to enter tank fish with up to two filter types.

Sorry, just read the last bit about salt. I can't help there but if you send through how much you added, when and what type; I'm sure someone will know.

Supa tonic salt for fresh water 1 tea spoon per 5 litres my 91 litres so I put 18 teaspoons full allowing for gravel plant ect I added it four days ago because my fish were flashing I did a water change 30% and added 3 more tea spoons my plants are going brown on the edges of some, I have 10 large and 3 small pics below

Ok, well I did some reading last night (but bearing in mind I have never used it), options I found are: leave the plants in and if not too badly wilting, etc they should recover when you do a fresh water change (a couple of articles), or take plants out (quite a few articles) or take the fish out and put in a QT tank (also quite a few articles). Generally it seems freshwater plants and salt don't go well. Also the rate of salt add looked fine for more sensitive fish such as catfish and loaches. You can't do a topic search on the phone app but you can on the website in case that helps.
