new...10 gal planted moving to a 30

Hello, I am an artist and photographer living in NY. Recently I have been obsessing over my planted tank. I have Platys, 2 Swordtails, and a few glowfish. I am hoping to grow enough green so the fry will have chances for survival without separation. By the end of the year my goal is to move to a 30 gallon. I find cleaning and adjusting the tank a meditative process that I have been enjoying very much. I would like to gain a beautiful aesthetic with the foliage and fish.
Thanks to all who post info on this forum. It has been very helpful in giving me the confidence and knowledge to go about this.

Welcome Gisel! I am glad you find your fish keeping relaxing, as do I. My ten gallon is actually my favorite out of all my tanks (5.5, 10 & 29 gallons) I hope you enjoy the upgrade though, the bigger tanks can be lots of fun too!
